Dr. Adv. A. Samsudheen is a visionary leader and the Founder and Chairman of ABATE AS Group of Companies, known for his ethical, purpose-driven leadership and long-term vision. Under his guidance, ABATE became the first company from Malabar to be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), marking a major milestone. He expanded the company’s presence beyond India into Bahrain, building successful ventures across mobile retail, electronics, supermarkets, and services, making Bahrain a key part of ABATE’s global growth.
Beyond business, he has made a strong impact in education and healthcare, introducing Kerala’s first approved BSc Optometry program in 2005 and supporting the development of world-class eye hospitals. With a Ph.D. focused on eye hospitals, he combines academic knowledge with practical expertise, building strong teams and a culture rooted in trust, excellence, and service. His leadership has created thousands of jobs across multiple sectors and continues to drive ABATE’s growth as a symbol of integrity, opportunity, and positive global impact.
